Business Newsletter November 2023

As we wrap up November, we delve into some key updates and tips to optimize your staffing experience with Bacon.

Greetings, Bacon Aficionados!

As we wrap up November, our focus remains on providing you with exceptional workforce solutions. In this edition of the newsletter, we delve into some key updates and tips to optimize your staffing experience with Bacon.

Importance of a Detailed Shift Description

Having a detailed shift description on your shifts is like giving your work experience a flavor profile—it's essential! A detailed shift description is like your recipe card for success. It helps you and the workers you request get on the same page, ensuring everyone knows what's expected. From the skills needed to the tasks at hand, it's the key to a well-coordinated and satisfying work experience.

Adding a team member to your account

Have you ever wondered how to add a new member to your Bacon account to help manage shifts? Whether expanding your crew or sprucing things up, adding a team member has never been more straightforward. Watch the video below to learn how to add someone to your team.

Auto-Accept at 48-hours

At Bacon, we follow a practical 48-hour rule for filling client shifts. Within this time frame, clients have the flexibility to select workers according to their preferences. Once the 48-hour mark hits, our system automatically fills the shift, ensuring clients get the requested workforce. Our dedicated Worker Support Team diligently reaches out to available workers in their respective areas daily, ensuring that each shift is efficiently staffed. It's not just a rule; it's our commitment to a streamlined and effective staffing process.

Rejecting workers

You may be familiar with Bacon's 12-hour rule regarding rejecting workers, but have you ever wondered why it matters? It's all about ensuring fairness to the workers and protecting you from incurring a late rejection fee. Many Bacon workers count on your shifts to make ends meet. Rejecting a worker more than 12 hours before a shift allows them to find a shift to replace the one they were counting on.

Adding a worker to a shift

Adding workers to your shifts is three clicks away.

  1. Click on the shift you want to add a worker to from your shifts tab
  2. Click on the time log button
  3. Click add worker. Enter their phone number and add them. It's a straightforward process that ensures your shifts are staffed with precision.

For a click-by-click example, watch the video below to add workers to your shift today.

If a worker does not come up when you enter their phone number, it could mean one of two things.

  • They have not passed their background check to work on the platform.
  • They may have a suspension and are unable to work shifts during that suspension.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of our valued clients. Your trust in Bacon is the secret ingredient to our success, and we're sincerely thankful for your continued partnership. If you have any questions, ideas, or just want to say hello, our team is here. Your business fuels our passion for excellence, and we're excited for what the future holds together.

Thank you for being an essential part of the Bacon community!
