Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, self-directed, and highly organized individual comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to oversee the smooth operation of the corporate office and to provide direct support to senior-level executives. Bacon is a dynamic, innovative tech start-up company on a mission to make temp work professional and respectable and utilizes a gig-work app to facilitate more efficient and flexible matching of local employer needs with temp worker availability and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and facilitate Bacon gig shifts with business clients, including for the following situations:
  1. First shifts for new key clients to assist with getting gig workers on location, ensuring they meet the shift requirements, and setting them up to succeed during the shift
  2. Shifts for clients who desire a more smooth and effective experience with gig worked shifts or who have concerns about past temp work
  • Collaborate with our client success team to help our business clients have a productive experience and to address any client-specific concerns 
  • Collaborate with our gig worker recruitment team to provide local support to attract new gig workers to Bacon’s app
  • Seek out ways to increase the number of gig workers using Bacon’s app through current gig worker promotion and recommendations to personal networks
  • Coach local area Bacon gig workers on how to have a successful experience doing gig work and in utilizing Bacon’s app to find gig opportunities
  • Network with current and potential Bacon gig workers to improve Bacon’s ability to facilitate positive gig work experiences and to increase Bacon brand loyalty
  • Assist with local skills improvement events for gig workers wanting to get the most out of their gig work experience

Represent the company mission, vision, and values in all interactions with business clients, gig workers, and other Bacon team members

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent
  • Valid drivers license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel in the area
  • General proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides and/or Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with or comfortable learning to use Slack, Zoom, and a customer relationship management CRM software 
  • Minimum 1 year customer service, client, or account management experience
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills and confidence interacting with all levels of an organization
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and able to organize and lead a group to complete a project
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle and prioritize a variety of assignments and multiple deadlines
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Self-starter and takes initiative
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality
  • Coachable and willing to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of undergraduate college education or an Associate’s degree 
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in an office environment
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills 
  • Familiarity with warehousing, catering, events, or similar industries a plus
  • Familiarity with shift work a plus
  • Supervisory, teaching, coaching, or managerial experience a plus
